We added the Hermitage location in 2002 and moved to our current location on State Street in 2008. Exciting news as we can now announce that we are moving once again as our business is growing to just down the street on State Street where we will have a drive thru for your convenience and a larger facility to handle our growth and better serve the Hermitage and Sharon customers.
We also added the Canandaigua, New York Medicine Shoppe in 2012 which also contains a highly customized compounding pharmacy to do both non-sterile as well as sterile medications and The Animal Pharmacy, which helps over 400 animal patients every month!
Greenville – Our Start In Pharmacy
The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Greenville was opened in May of 1978 by pharmacist Paul Walsh. It has remained a family owned independent pharmacy to this day serving Greenville and the surrounding communities. We purchased the store from Paul in January 1991 and they expanded the store in October 2006 to its current size, and opened the drive thru. At that time we added several new services such as diabetic shoes, immunizations and custom compounded medications made specifically for you.

We always strive to provide friendly, competent, and quick service to all of our customers. We keep customer wait time to under 10 minutes for quick in and out service. We try to give back to the community as often as possible in contributions to our schools, churches and other community involved activities.
One project we feel most proud of is our free vitamin program for children and seniors. We offer other programs mostly free of charge to aid our customers in compliance with their medication. The first is Time My Meds program where we can synchronize your medications so that you can pick them up all on the same day. The other is our Dispill packaging service that is filled for you in packages color coded to morning, noon, evening, and bedtime by day so that you are able to remove a day or two at a time for travel or convenience. This helps adhere to the philosophy of the right drug, at the right time, for the right patient.
For 37 years now our pharmacies have provided a FREE delivery service in Greenville, and the outlying areas. All of our other pharmacies also offer FREE local home delivery. For your convenience we can charge to a credit card each time or send your statement to a designated person for payment. Stop in and check out our monthly specials on a wide array of over the counter medications, can not find what you want, we will order it in and keep it on hand for you. We participate in all of the insurance plans in the area and accept Medicaid, Medicare Parts B, and D as well as Highmark DME. If you have no prescription coverage we offer a competitive RX savings club that beats our competitors prices. We look for ways to save our patients money!
